I’m Salena. I’m a painter, a writer, a runner, a student, a witch, a caring daughter, sister, and friend, and a kickass employee. I wasn’t always.
I’d been really sad a lot of my life, and when i was 16 i let my vices consume me. it was me, a bottle, and a blade against the world. getting sober & trying to relearn self love to replace self hatred was and is the most beautiful thing I’ve gone through.
6 months in i got the incredibly opportunity to go to Peru on a spiritual retreat where I met the beautiful kimcita, who introduced me & got me a shoot with Chrissy. it was an amazing experience working with her and the photos turned out amazing. i wanted to share my story (briefly) because I know the scars can be alarming, i chose to leave them in because they are a part of me. and they represent my healing, not my suffering.
